Article from our e-newsletter, which is designed to provide tools and motivation from Chinese medicine to help you live a full and happy life in good health!

Building a healthy immune system can improve your quality of life by decreasing how often you get sick, lessening the severity of illness, and helping to manage seasonal allergies and other issues from environmental stress.

Beyond this, you want to feel good right now and know that your habits today are creating future health.

In this mini-series we will share 10 ways to Build a Healthy Immune System with Chinese Medicine.

Step #1: Have a positive attitude. Pessimists are up to 8 times more likely to be sick and injured than optimists - negative emotions have been demonstrated to decrease immune function over time. Your mind is the driver’s seat to your life experience and health so practice positive thinking and shift to a more optimistic view on life.

Where to start:

Be grateful. Start and end your day by thinking about 3 things you are grateful for. Write them down, meditate or pray on them.

Say, "Thank you" more often. Find reasons to smile :)

Tell yourself, “I am in charge of my life.” I choose my health quality. I can make any needed change.

I used to coach with T Harv Eker, who’d always say, “If you want something better than what you have now you need to stop complaining, blaming, and justifying”. I call it CBJ mode.

Are you saying positive things about your health or do you get stuck in CBJ mode?

We all have bumps in road, but being positive keeps us in a better frame to live longer, healthier lives.

Practice being more positive this week and track how it makes you feel better.

Stay positive.

Stay healthy.
