Chi Gong Exercise for Indigestion

This exercise helps open and close the valves in the intestines and stomach to smooth out discomfort from stress, too much sugar, over-eating, travel.

When you get that, "My stomach doesn't feel right" feeling- do this simple "Open and Close" movement for 5 or 10 minutes.


As with all chi gong, be sure to relax, breathe into your low belly, breathe in and out through your nose as much as possible without strain, and only go to 70% of your total range of movement when performing exercises that work the visceral organs.

Your arm movement may be very small as you stay in the range where you feel the "open and close" in the low belly area.
